They have all kinds of ideas, inspiration and tuition on that site. 

I use simple carbon paper to transfer a design on to the wood and then burn the line away. There are lots of source books with all kinds of images available to get you started.  Have a look at Search Press who have several of this type of book on a variety of subjects http://www.searchpress.com/
