Layer Love Class; Episode 3

Welcome Back

 

Today I would like to share a few photos of the painting I’ve created after taking lessons with Julie Prichard. Julie is running a painting class called Layer Love, which is hosted on Ning. I’m really enjoying the class and learning soo much.

Light area left around the collage

 

I left some lighter paint around this piece of collage to draw the eye.

 

Drip lines framing the collage

 

I let the drip lines create a frame to the other piece of collage, to add interest and draw the eye.

I’m beginning to get the hang of these paints and starting to try using them like I did with the inks. I got some nice shading under the main collage piece to add some depth.
