Thanks :) I’m only just starting out with painting, so its all a bit new to me yet. Just playing with colours and seeing what comes up at the moment.

I can’t really post a tutorial on this as it was a modified idea from what I learnt on an online class. I can point you at an excellent teacher though, the person who I took the class from Julie Prichard. Check out her blog and classes on; http://www.julieprichard.com/

Thanks :) I am such a collector of christmas stamps, especially anything with snowflakes on. This snowflake was made from a Cuttlebug die, there is a matching embossing folder with it, but the grunge board didn’t survive cutting and embossing. I’m pleased with the speckle effect the paint gave though. The silver I used on the cover toned down more than I intended, when I added a white wash over the earlier layers but as a background I think it works :)
