Welcome Back
Today I would like to share a picture of the altered Christmas bauble that I made.
To make this bauble I used very inexpensive plastic baubles available in the UK from B&Q.
I coloured the baubles using Ranger Alcohol inks in various colours. Today’s bauble was originally one of the silver ones, it was coloured with Stonewashed, Denim and Bottle inks.
These would make great presents and be ideal wrapped using the exploding box, shown in an earlier post. Do have a go at these yourself and let me see the results.
There are more baubles to come in the following weeks.
Best wishes and thanks for reading, see you soon
Billie

That’s so awesome, Billie! You transformed something hum-drum into something beautiful. Love it!
Hi Cindy
Thanks, I’ve had alcohol inks for ages and since they worked so well on plastics and metallic surfaces it looked like it would be worth an experiment with the baubles. One tip if you try these, let the first layer of ink totally dry before you add another, and leave some of the original color show through. These baubles photograph more shiny than they look in real life.
Have fun and do send a link to a picture if you have a go at making one
Best wishes
Billie
