This month the theme for The Virtual Crafting Challenge was ‘D’. Here is my latest Distressed project.
Distressed Box
This humble box, is not quite what it seems. At first glance you would think this is a small metal box, aged and worn with time. It is in fact, a humble card box, the kind you can buy quite cheaply in craft stores.
I coloured the box with many layers of paint using Acrylic Dabbers. The result, is a lot like the look of a very old metal tin. I am now on the look out for small stamps which show vintage labels as they would marry perfectly with this technique.
