Thanks for your kind words. You are right about the dates, it was 4th June last year that Sky went, and April that Blue went. Just bad luck, as they are treated like royalty, as you know.

Thanks so much for your kind words. Yes my birdies are definately more like feathered babies, definately a big part of the family. Harry turned out not to be much over weight, he was just physically a much taller bird than the others. He was a bit fluffed up in that photo :)

I can see Harry now, flying like a brick, six inches off the ground. Tiny being his personal trainer and chasing him around the floor to get him moving. Bless my feathered boys.

They are so cute and Harry sure looks like a special one.
Your flying lesson story reminded me of the two small budges we once had. They were almost always out of the cage sitting in the window and flying back at night. One time we came home late (we never locked the cage) and found one in the corner of our living-room, the poor thing hung ‘clawed’ to the wall. After that adventure I installed night lamps in spare sockets so they had landing lights in case they returned home late again. What we do for our pets :)

Hope you feel better soon, you must have many fond memories of this chubbie bird.
