Just had to share a picture of the early birthday prezzies my lovely husband gave me.

He asked me for a copy of the image file, of my blog’s banner (the logo at the top of the blog for non techies 
). He locked himself in the office and had this really brilliant mug made and also the pen 
I was thrilled
The logo I created from scratch with the exception of the bird which was from a clip art image. The background was inked then photographed, the book is a leather journal I made. I assembled everything from the images in Photoshop and was so pleased with how it turned out.
Until then I hadn’t really got into Photoshop in any big way, so it had been a steep learning curve. I’ve been so proud of the logo and of this blog so it was the perfect present.

My birthday isn’t till Monday, but I kinda needed cheering up, a huge piece of filling fell out of my tooth and I HATE going to the dentist. Terrified of them! Not got to go till next friday, so pain killers till then

Well I know that has to be painful! Dentist offices are not my favorite places to visit. As a kid, I was so afraid of the injection, I would make him drill without painkillers. I was just so afraid of having him come near me with the needle. Now, while I may not like it, I do receive an injection. But then my dentist is very sweet, and he is very good, I never feel the injection. Not that I am over my fear, I still get the shakes when I have to go.
I hope this visit is as painless as possible.
