Its a great book, I love it. Plenty of inspiration, perfect for anyone new to sewing, no jargon :) I love how it tells you everything, you don’t need to know anything about sewing to understand this book :)

Can your country read PAL DVD’s? If so check out http://www.shortcutstosewing.co.uk/shortcuts_to_sewing_sew_what.html It tells you how to do all the basics. Debbie is really nice and also uses no jargon and doesn’t speak to you as if you are five years old either ;) I’m posting a review of it on 28th July.

Just found this blog which has tutorials too http://u-handbag.typepad.com/ Lisa has a book out (not bought it YET) but also sells parts for bags :)
