In today’s post I will be reviewing the following
Rymans Card Stock
160 & 200 gsm
Available from Rymans
In the past my favorite cardstock was Ray Inkjet & Laser paper but when it was discontinued the search began for an alternative. I tried a pack of this Ryman’s card and I haven’t looked back.
This card stock works very well with
- Pigment inks
- Dye based inks including Tim Holtz Distress inks.
- If you like Distress style of techniques it works fine for that. Choose the heavier weights (200 gsm) for stability though.
- Cuttlebug embossing
- Letraset Pro Markers, I use the 200gsm with these pens and it works great.
I tend not to buy pre coloured card, preferring to tailor match my card using ink pads as I go. I use this card to make my own white core card. Inking over it in the colour of my choice, embossing and then sanding back to the white inside.
This is great value for money and you really save on storage by creating from scratch like this I should have taken a picture of the 200gsm card as it is what I use most of the time.
Here is a link to the manufacturers site, you can buy this card online.
The card is also available in Ivory, check out their website for more details.
Best wishes and thanks for reading, see you soon
