Snow
Thought you might like to see some of our snow
Isn’t nature wonderful, look at the just one of our amazing icicles!
Don’t slam the doors, or Damocles the icicle will get you!
Best wishes and thanks for reading, see you soon

Icicle of Damocles indeed
Wouldn’t want to be under that monster when it decides to part company.
We’ve had rain tonight so it could be skaters paradise tomorrow. We have been very lucky so far this year in not having very much snow but were hit hard the previous two years – what happened to global warming???
Thanks for sharing another beautiful page of your advent calendar?
Point taken about using recycled Christmas cards, I use those for gift tags and I have had to throw out so much stuff that has been hoarded when we put our house on the market. Still masses of accumulated junk to be got rid of especially all that lurking in the shed
Keep warm

Hi Lynn
Icilce of Damocles was decapitated manually tihis morning. It was going on 3 foot long by over 3″ round in places! I held it in one hand ang bashed it with a stick so it let go of the roof. Good job I did or it may have bitten through the felt on the flat roof it was over.
Lots of rain here today so all the icicles have fallen off now. LOUD night with flumps as the snow slid off the roof and cruches and crashes as various iciles let go!
Wet icy mess all around now
