New Menu System is here
You see those tabs at the top, Art, Bookbinding etc, well in the past when you click on them you have to jump across several pages to get to the information you want to see. Thanks to some clever design work, by the wonderful people behind WordPress, I have been able to alter them, now if you hover your mouse over the tabs you’ll get a drop down menu. Cool Huh! Now you can skip straight to the info you want much easier than before. From the drop downs, if there is more than one option for information, when you put your mouse on a button, the extra pages will show to the right!
Side Bars
You will also see that the listings in the side bars have altered a bit. Don’t worry the links that were there, haven’t left the blog altogether, they have just moved into the dedicated subject sections within the pages. So you will find the bookbinding ones in the Bookbinding tab, that kinda thing. So if things look a bit different for a while, as I try stuff out, don’t fret the information will still be here, just working on how to make it easier for you to find the things of interest to you easily. I’ve put some new things in the side bar to make it easier to find the information as well. Now you can search by craft subject from the tabs at the top. Or by categories from the side bars. The new sections at the side include: Blogs, Forums, Supplies, Tutorials, Reviews. No more time consuming searching through older posts to try and find your favorite post!
Header
Not planning on changing the colour scheme and header, that works fine as it is. Although the more decorative backgrounds are pretty, being dyslexic I am sensitive to those of us with visual issues and would rather keep the design clean and easily accessible to most people.
Coming Soon
Hoping to get a few more articles about textiles on here, as its my latest ‘thing’ and I’m all excited about it. There will still be lots of paper crafting as that is what I enjoy most and I really must try to find some time to make more books.
Keeping regular reviews of products and books etc, as many tutorials as I can manage and pictures of finished projects too.

For those of you, like me, who hate change 
Don’t worry, this all took soo long to do, that I won’t be changing anything layout wise for a goooood long time!!!! Unless something isn’t working that is. New links will be added to the pages as I discover more exciting things to share. Putting links on these other pages, allows me to share even more links than it would have been practicle to put in the side bars.

Bet that took some long hours and some frustrating ones at times but it all looks brilliant.
I must find more time to go through your bookbinding tutorials as it is a subject I find fascinating and goes well with my love of paper
The one aspect of WordPress that drives me nuts when I add to my blog is when I get it all set up as I want it with the photos almost placed as I want them and they are all changed around when I publish!! Grrrr. I always have to edit and have to use a divider to keep things in place which annoys me no end
Any tips on this?

Nice work Billie, the site looks great! I need to update my wordpress blog too. I’m starting to hate the suffusion template, it’s too complicated.
Great review of your Kindle. I love mine too! I got it when they first came out and won’t think about upgrading, I love it fine! I appreciate all of the same things as you for many of the same reasons ; ) Now, if only it could show great color pics for our art books, lol!

Thanks, so glad you like the new look, it was such hard work to change it, I’m very relieved its being well recieved. Not so much difficult, although it took a lot of thought and planning, more time consuming than anything else.
