A while ago I had a try with Friendly Plastic, which really was a disaster. After getting some new plastic and seeing Liz Welch demoing flowers I managed to modify the technique and made these.
Liz makes hers using a pan of hot water, I can’t do plastic indoors because of the birds and created mine on a heat proof sheet using a heat tool. If you would like to find out how to make these flowers check out Liz’s DVD Bend it Shape It, which I recently reviewed.
I’m going to use these as closures on my hand-made journals. I’ll show you a picture when I have one ready ;)
What do you think, I like them, not so sure the red one came out so well with the extra layer in the centre, I used a Crop A Dile to punch a little disc to add ‘gem’ style to the middle. I really like the purple one though.
