Welcome Back
Today I’d like to share another picture of an ATC background that I made using Daler Rowney System 3 acrylic paint.
Mottle Gold
This piece is likely to be stamped over in the end with text or images, this is just a starting point. It has various colours of System 3 Original acrylic paint and a gentle wash of Imitation Gold Pale Cryla to add a subtle brightness.
I’m enjoying experimenting with colour and texture for this month’s Virtual Crafting Challenge. How about you, have you got the paints out yet this month? Give it a go, its all about having fun and trying new stuff. Use what you have in the back of the cupboard, neglected, forgotten and just waiting for a challenge like this to be given permission to come out and play.

This was onto water colour paper. I reckon this may turn into a reference piece that I’ll hang onto and use the effect on other pieces. Trouble is I am getting quite a collection of that kind of thing now. I must have seen it coming though, hense the small size
Shame the pale golden sheen doesn’t show up on the camera.
Glad you like it, give it a go, this was an experiment with different objects to see what texture they would produce. I had colour scheme in mind but nothing more. Give it a go, no rules = more fun
