MIL gave me a knitting bag on a frame which I love, but this is handy for works in progress. I did find knitting with the yarn in the bag on a frame meant I kept snagging the yarn on the frame as the yarn skittered about inside the bag.

With this, the yarn is the only thing in there so it has nouthing to 'argue' with :)

Hi Lynn

Nice to see you, hows things?

Would love to see what you make, there are so many lovely fabrics around now, and if you have a posh machine perhaps some fancy stitches.

If you wanted to get real fancy, how about stamping something onto your fabric and using embroidery stitch over the top of the design?? Beyond my humble skills but bet it would look good.

I'd recommend using a stiffening layer in the bag, although this one is made of upholsery fabric, it does still collapse in at the sides unless it is really full. If I was making one, I'd add a few pockets, for a note book and notations holder etc.

Have fun

That's a fab pressy Billy, it would so go in my lounge next to the sofa where I knit!!! You have inspired me to look for some suitable fabric, bring out my wonderful new Phaff machine and create something for my yarns. I can feel a really creative week coming on. x
