Today I’d like to share a picture of a daffodil that I painted in watercolour recently

Materials Used
- Winsor and Newton Watercolour paint
- Paper Weave watercolour card
- Pro Arte Renaissance Sable brush
My companion while I learn to paint has been Billy Showell’s book A-Z of Watercolour Flower Portraits. This is very helpful as there are lots of pictures of finished paintings and breakdowns of the colours she used to paint them. My flowers are drawn and painted from the ones in my garden or that have been given to me, but I’m still at the early learning stage when it comes to painting, so the book is really helping me improve my colour mixing and blending techniques.
