Thanks for stopping by and for your comment too. I am a very visual learner (being dyslexic) so having things shown step by step in picture form as well as the description really helps and the book is so clearly laid out too. I bought the hardbacked copy as I knew it would be a fantastic reference point. Its on the book shelf right next to where I knit so its to hand.

I loved writing the book with DK, we were really proud of it, and I am so pleased that you value it. BTW there will be a smaller format, more portable version coming out soon, but at the cost of some of the content because something has to go!
Look out for that one and another DK book of patterns I have worked on coming out later on this year.

In fact during the spring/summer all my crafting tends to be set aside unless it is raining :) I’m now making a more conscious effort to only work outdoors until midafternoon and then come in to craft …more because as I get older my poor back can’t cope with all the bending so well :) This way I get the best of all worlds :D

I bought a book on crochet that is very similar in style to this book – shows the stitches step by step with very clear instructions and then pictures of how a piece looks once crocheted up. Must get my crochet hook going again :)
