Hi Jeremiah

Try contacting the people I have mentioned in the blog list, several of them create leather covered books. Etsy is also a good place to find bookbinders and they often will take custom orders.

Making a custom book. HELP PLEASE!!!

ok, i am a total novice at both printing and binding. I Have never attempted to make a book and am not an author.
What I am trying to do is make a special gift for my wife for our anniversary.
What i have done is have all of her friends and family write in submissions to present to her in a book.
That was the easy part apparently..............
I have a digital file and cant find anyone who can make the book.

what im looking for:
approx 6x9
soft cover leather
thin elegant paper, velum or rice paper of some sort with a gold edge
black and white print

I can go to any walmart or book store in the world and but this exact thing as a bible or even a blank journal but nowhere can i find someone who can make it. can anyone help. is this possible. please advise, im getting down to the wire and have no idea what to do. I dont want to have to go to some "big box" printer and settel for your typical cardboard cover "coffee table" book.
