Glad it brought back good memories, my granny square memory was from a dolly cot blanket someone made for me as a kid.

I do the same as you Billie, I also use packing tape wrapped around my hand to remove fluff and bits off clothes :) Masking tape is good for picking up the backing off red liner DS tape – I stick a strip of masking tape sticky side up on my desk and dab the red liner double sided tape backing onto the masking tape, saves me having cross words as the backing can end up being attached to me due to static electricity lol
