Just wanted to share my third pair of handmade earings.

The beads are a combination of those from a box from Edinburg wool mill shop and from Sanctuary beads. The findings were from Sanctuary beads. I can see collecting beads as becoming addictive ohh dear, the magpie for colours and shiny things makes another appearance!

This months Virtual Crafting Challenge is Beads, gems and charms. I’m sure you have a stash of beads in the cupboard, why not try combining them with your crafting projects. I’d love to see what you create.

My first Earings

Welcome Back

Just wanted to share a picture of a set of earings I made before I hurt my hand.

My First Earings

The beads and findings were from a box that I bought in the Edinburgh Wool Mill shop. They were a real bargain as I bought the boxes after Christmas and they were a silly price

Thanks to the regular shows by Beaders Companion on Create and Craft I learnt how to make the earings. My dexterity isn’t up to much so had to rest up after these, (RSI). Hope I can manage to do a little jewellery making even if it will need to be few and far between. It was really fun to make a quick too.

Origami Peace Crane Earings

Welcome Back

I would like to share a picture of the origami Peace Crane earings that I made my good friend Lynn for Christmas.

They are made from gold coloured velum, this turned out to be a bit heavy to fold with but I got there in the end. This was another project I found in the Paper Fold It book that I bought some weeks ago.
