Welcome Back

If you have bought Grunge board and don’t know what to do with it, then keep watching. I bought some AGES ago and just left it in the cupboard, until I saw a demo by Sheena Douglass, painting on it and creating bracelets with it. Here is my video version of Grungeboard Bracelets using Golden Fluid Acrylic Paints.

This is part 5 of the tutorial, which shows how to assemble your bracelet.

It took me two months searching to find Golden’s Fluid Acrylic paint in the UK, so in a break from tradition I am linking to a specific store that stocks it in the UK.

Jackson’s Art Supplies. Click on the G on the index and Golden Fluid Acrylics are listed. I use the 1 oz bottles.

Welcome Back

Today I would like to share another picture of some grungeboard bracelets I’ve been making…still flat as I’m still waiting for my fasteners to arrive.

Grungeboard Bracelets.

Like the last ones, these bracelets were painted with Golden Fluid Acrylic paint. Comes out lovely doesn’t it. Do let me know what you think.

I need to take one more photo and get it edited and into a post, then the tutorial on a Garland made with Grunge Paper will be up on Friday :) I think you are going to like it ;)

Welcome Back

Have you ever bought something because ‘everyone’ says its fantastic and then just put it in the cupboard because you just don’t know what to do with it? I’m not overly led by ‘the latest product’ but I was with Tim Holtz Grungeboard. I bought some when I saw it, and put it in the cupboard, I get it out, look at it, then put it away again bemused and bewildered. That was until I saw Sheena Douglass on Ideal World the other day, demonstrating how to make bracelets out of it.

Here  are some pictures of the first bracelet I’ve made so far. The holly themed one, was made along the lines of Sheena’s instructions the text background ones I put my own spin on the idea.

I have filmed a tutorial for You Tube, about how I created the purple one. As soon as I have the disk space available, I will edit and upload it. It will have to go in installments as it’s quite involved and the film got quite long!

Come back next Friday for a step by step tutorial on how to make a Garland using Grunge Paper.

Best wishes and thanks for reading, see you soon
