Here are just a few options for ideas to get you started. This is your journey, do whatever you fancy as long as you have some fun and maybe try something different to what you always do.
- Foiling; This is the technique where an adhesive is applied to a surface and a foil sheet is then applied to the glued area. The foil is then transferred to your image.
- Gilding; This technique involves applying a size or adhesive to an area, you then apply metal leaf to the area. The metal leaf will stick to the area that had the size or adhesive.
- As a new surface to stamp onto; You can get metal sheets in a variety of weights and colours. It is a great surface to colour and stamp onto. Use solvent based inks, other inks will not dry on this surface.
- Embossing; You can get metal sheets in a variety of weights and colours. This is a great surface to dry emboss into.
This site has projects for most of the above mentioned options
