Welcome Back
Well it has been an eventful week, I have at last invested in a digital video camera with a view to putting tutorials on You Tube. I managed to film something worthy and have today, with the help of my very patient husband got said film onto the computer.
I am not a tech head and so working out how on earth to get the film into a size or format that You Tube would accept has proved too much (embarrassed). I have put my film through Photoshop Premier Elements and I have to say I am really pleased at how uncomplicated this was. I had a very steep learning curve when I started using Photoshop Elements but this has proved useful as Premier Elements works in a similar way, the programs are laid out kinda the same which has REALLY helped.
I have ordered the latest version of Photoshop Premier Elements as this has the optionof saving your resulting film straight to You Tube, without having to know anything about resizing etc PHEW again. As soon as this software arrives I shall see if the file I have just created will go straight in, or remake a new one, now I’ve got the basic idea of how it works.
So watch this space, very soon some of my long winded tutorials will have a short film to make them much easier to understand. Cross your fingers for me, oh and watch this space for the new films 😉

This page is very helpful and has tips and films on how to get the best film you can for uploading for their site. The link has the answers for those tricky questions your editing package/ techie friend may ask you 😉 so hop over and take a look 😉 Shame I didn’t find this page a few days ago, but better late than never 😉
