Welcome Back
As regular viewers will know I am a member of the Book Arts Forum, one of the members there suggested a swap involving using a product you haven’t tried before. I want to make a book using stampboard for a cover. Here are a few pictures of the prototype book I made using Coptic stitching as the bind itself.

Here you can see the alternating colours of the pages
Inks Used; Ranger Adirondack Pigment ink, Butterscotch, Terracotta and Cranberry. Tsukeneko; Versafine in Onyx Black and Versamark
Stamps used; Crafty Individuals, Katzelkraft
Ampersand; Stampboard 2″ x 2″, Stampboard tools
Ranger; Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel in Clear
Barbour; Linen thread black, number 18 cord 3; which I waxed
I was very pleased with how this turned out and look forward to creating a larger version for the swap itself. Here are a couple of close up pictures of the tiles before they were made into a book;

Looks good! I’m looking forward to see the finished book you’ll enter in the swap 🙂
