Welcome Back
Today I would like to share a picture of the 6×4″ Piece that I created for the challenge of the same name. The theme was Sparkle and Shine
I coloured white card using ranger Adirondack dye ink, then embossed it using a Cuttlebug folder. I sanded the embossed card to reveal the white underneath. I spritzed with Perfect Pearls in a mini mister which sadly doesn’t show up so well in the photograph.
The title is embossed for the shine and the humming bird has a sparkly embossing powder on it which covers the sparkle part of the challenge. The text panel and its frame were created from card cut using Nestabilites dies.
All finished with an organza ribbon and a gold edging to the embossed piece. Matted on to black card stock. Even though this is a floral theme the dark colours mean I think this would be OK for a men’s card…what do you think?
Best wishes and thanks for reading, see you soon

The background colour is beautiful.
Thanks Ann
I adore my Adirondack dye inks for creating backgrounds. This started life as plain white cardstock, I guess the benefit of not having a craft shop too close to me is that it gets me creating all my own background papers 😉
Best wishes

Hi Pam
Thanks for your compliments on my blog. I only found your blog last night, after reading about your work in Stampington’s Art Journaling magazine.
I love your Aussie Slang post cards, they are superb.
Best wishes
