Welcome Back
In today’s post a tutorial for how to create a Desk top calendar. There are PDF’s at the end, for you to print your own calendar and a video to show you how it all comes together.
You Will Need
12 x 12″ Cardstock Patterned or plain if you wish to stamp your own designs on.
Decorative papers, main images I used Joanna Sheen’s COuntry Diary of an Edwardian Lady CD
Calendar, see downloads in the links section.
Method
Calendar Templates
Basic Calendar – Original. This is a modern yet classic font, which will compliment most styles of project.
Basic Calendar – Oriental Style This is an oriental style font which will compliment Eastern projects.
Basic Calendar – Elegant Style Font. This is a classic style font, it suits the Edwardian Lady themes and would work well with Anna Griffin styles too.
Why not ‘collect’ all three. These templates are for personal use, you are welcome to create projects using them for gifts or as completed projects to sell. If you use these templates for projects you publish in print or online, please link back to me here.
Would love to hear what you think of these, and to see your finished calendars 🙂

Lovely tutorial Billie; easy enough to make but a lovely card or calendar as a gift. Now will I have enough time to make a batch of these? 🙂
Our daughter has started a craft club for school children one afternoon each week and I have just finished origami type folding 30 boxes and just have the bands to do for the children to decorate as a gift for their mums!
Love the calendars, thank you so much for those
Best wishes

HI Lynn
Thanks 🙂 these are acutally quite quick to make. I’d go for a production line of the various elements then it makes assembly quicker 😉
Well done on your boxes, have you found this site for boxes and cards? http://www.ruthannzaroff.com/mirkwooddesigns/ print onto your fave card for quick n easy boxes 😉
Have fun and I’d love to see your results if you make some of these 🙂
Best wishes
Billie 🙂
Well I have now printed off the calendars so that is a step in the right direction!
The site I used for my boxes is here http://magic-boxes.blogspot.com/2009/05/origami-box-with-wrap-lid-tutorial.html
I used to have the link you put on your comments bookmarked once upon a time and forgot all about it! 🙂 Old age is creeping up.

Your calendars were just what I was looking for but they have each month starting at Sunday. That’s not right. If January ends on Tuesday then Feb. would start on Wednesday, right? I love your tutorials! They are really clear and easy to understand. Thank you!
Hi Sandra
Thanks for stopping by and so glad you like the tutorials.
Because these are perpetual calendars, those that can be used over again, there are no days of the week printed on them at all, so not sure what you mean about them all starting on Sundays?
Do let me know if I’ve made a mistake with them and put days of the week somewhere, as this hadn’t been my intention.
The monthly downloadable calendars that appear on the blog do indeed have days of the week printed on them, but they are mon-Sunday with each month starting on its respective day.
Best wishes
Billie 🙂
