Published by Sterling Publishing Co., Inc. This is definitely a book I would recommend people interested in trying book binding for the very first time should look at. There is a good explanation of papers at the start, plenty of pictures to inspire you and clear instruction of simple to more complex forms of books. I have reviewed this and posted it here.

The best instuctional book, and the best tutorials on You Tube that I have found are by Peter Baumgartner. I have made quite a few successful and professional-looking books from these sources alone. I have, however, subsequently found a very good tutorial on Japanese bookbinding, which I am looking forward to trying
