Welcome Back

As promised here is the piece I made for this month’s Six By Four Challenge over on the Stamping Mad Forum. www.stampingmadforum.co.uk

The 6 x 4″ card is cream, which I later mounted onto green to use it as a card. The main mat was created using Red Pepper and Raisin Adirondack Dye Ink from Ranger and on top of this I added an ATC sized piece which is stamped using Winter Pine Tapestry stamps http://www.rubberstamptapestry.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=SBR04004  I adore these tapestry stamps but keep forgetting I have them. They are a set of individual stamps that you repeat stamp to create ornate borders. There is a link to a video demonstration below, if you haven’t come across them before. The stamps come with instructions and list the inks to use with them, they list Versacolor cubes which are pigment ink. I have no issues with that ink it is simply that I have such a collection of the Adirondack inks that by using the color examples that come with the packaging I can match it to the Adironkdack inks.

I’m afraid that I lost the packaging to the template that I used to create the pierced pattern that I stitched to create the stars at the top and bottom of my page. I bought it in the Netherlands some years ago, I store my stencils in a photo album as it keeps them flat and safe but the packaging doesn’t always fit so is sometimes discarded, as in this case. I think it was made by Kars if that helps anyone looking for it.
