Welcome Back
Some time ago I published the themes that would be going up monthly for The Virtual Crafting Challenge. I had considered not having a theme this month, as most people (in the UK certainly) would be either on holiday, sorting out children or enjoying what the weather brings in the garden. Then I changed my mind…. your theme for The Virtual Crafting Challenge for August 2009 is;
Take Pictures of Things that Inspire You
This could be;
-
Colours
-
Textures
-
People
-
Places
-
Nature
-
ANYTHING that sparks your creativity.
Images that make you want to get your craft supplies out and create based on something you see. Colours in nature that inspire you to use them in your latest project. People who always know what to say to inspire you, when your creative muse has a day off. If photography isn’t your thing, maybe you can draw or paint a picture of the kind of things that inspire you, or collect images from books or magazines that inspire you.
Challenge yourself to look at the world around you in a new way and to record things that inspire you. What you do with your images is your own choice. Maybe print and frame them for your creative space. Maybe create a photo album of inspiring pictures, to help you out when you feel creatively stuck. I will share a few of my latest pictures over the coming weeks, that inspire me to get creative.
In September the challenge will return to its usual schedule as published earlier this year.
Have fun with this.
Best wishes and thanks for reading, see you soon
Billie 🙂
