Welcome Back
In today’s post, I’d like to share a few pictures of the knitting needle wrap I recently made.
I found a tutorial for a pen wrap in the book Bags, Bags, Bags but being an inventive sort I decided to modify it a little. You could just as well use this for pens, pencils, brushes or similar items. I’m using mine for storing knitting needles.
Here’s the wrap open, notice the overlapping top, so the contents don’t escape.
This shows the top flap open, so you can see the contents.
In the future I can see my making more of these. They are simple and quite quick to make. NEXT time I’ll photograph the process so I can share a tutorial. I’ve got written notes, just not the photos š
Hope you like it.
Best wishes and thanks for reading, see you soon

That looks an ideal, lightweight case for storing and carrying pens, pencils, knitting needles Billie. In fact I think storing pens such as Promarkers in one of these would be easier than in another form of storage. Mine are in a plastic box and I have to keep rootling around looking for the colour I want. With your wrap it can undone and opened and all the colours seen at a glance – hmmmm, sounds like an idea š

Hi Lynn
If you made an extra long version, perhaps it could fold in half in the middle and you would get a double row of pens in š bit of a redesign needed.
I didn’t jump on the Pro Marker bandwagon, I’m afraid. I find them quite whiffy and won’t use them indoors because of the birds. Getting into paint this year š
